  14. I just wanted to take a moment to bring up a slight problem that I am 
  15. having with Newtek policy and to see if anyone could recommend what I 
  16. should do.

  18. I purchased my T4000 before the stand-alone version of LW was released.  
  19. I bought it JUST for LW.  The only thing that the Toaster card gets used 
  20. for is the composite out.  I was looking to upgrade from 3.1 to 4.0 so I 
  21. called Newtek.  They told me that because I have the integrated system 
  22. (card/software) I would have to pay about $600 to upgrade the entire 
  23. system instead of the $149 just for the stand-alone LW upgrade.

  25. Quite frankly, I do not give a damn about the rest of the toaster 
  26. system.  That extra $450 could easily go toward more memory or another 
  27. harddrive.  Something that would get used.

  29. Am I only only one that has had this problem?  What should I do?  I'm 
  30. afraid that I am going to have to bite the bullet.
